Dieci Prese Farm, founded nearly two centuries ago, has been a family-run enterprise since its inception by the Putti family. Gaetano Testa, a pioneer of land reclamation under Austrian rule in the 19th century, initiated the transformation of local water systems. The name "Dieci Prese" reflects this heritage, referring to the reclaimed land divided into "prese," with the tenth "presa" being the current farm’s property. Winemaking has been integral to the farm's identity, with records of grape processing dating back to the early 1900s. The farm champions the native Friularo grape, preserving its cultivation against the trend of substituting it with the easier-to-grow Raboso clone. The historic "Priara" vineyard, planted in the 1930s, remains vital to their commitment to traditional winemaking, showcasing the unique character of Friularo in every bottle.
