Tenuta Monteti lies in Capalbio, the southernmost corner of Maremma Toscana, surrounded by Mediterranean woodland and cooled by sea breezes. Established by the Baratta family in the late 1990s, the estate spans 28 hectares under vine and is entirely family-managed. Vineyards are planted primarily to Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Alicante Bouschet, each harvested by hand and vinified separately before extended ageing in French oak. The estate’s flagship wines — Monteti, Caburnio and TM Rosé — reflect structure, harmony and the coastal freshness of the Maremma landscape.
