Tenuta Ponziani is situated on the scenic slopes of Mount Peglia, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, just a few kilometers from Orvieto and other cultural landmarks in central Italy. The estate offers a perfect fusion of Umbrian nature with refined architecture, creating a unique and tranquil atmosphere. The vineyard spans 3.5 hectares, cultivating white grapes such as Grechetto and Chardonnay, alongside Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, all benefiting from the mineral-rich volcanic soil known as Venanzite. The estate features a modern underground vinification cellar, built in 2010 with local tuff stone to maintain optimal wine production conditions.
