Beau Constantia is a boutique wine farm perched atop Constantia Nek in the Cape Peninsula, overlooking False Bay and framed by mountain slopes. After devastating fires in 2000 cleared the land, Pierre and Cecily Du Preez acquired the property in 2002 and planted the first vineyards in 2003. The site is characterised by steep slopes, elevation (~350 m above sea level), and cooling influences from the Atlantic breeze. Today, Beau Constantia maintains about 11 hectares under vine (80 % red varieties, 20 % white) across a range of varieties including Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, and blended cuvées. The estate also offers a “Pas de Nom” range alongside its family series.
