For four generations, the Parilla family has nurtured Tenuta del Conte in Cirò, a picturesque coastal region influenced by the Mediterranean. Today, siblings Mariangela, Giuseppe, and Caterina carry forward this legacy, managing 15 hectares of organic vineyards with a commitment to preserving the natural harmony of the terroir. Since 2010, Tenuta del Conte has used traditional winemaking methods, ensuring each bottle captures the character of the vintage, free of additives and with minimal sulfites. With Gaglioppo and Greco Bianco as the primary grape varieties, Tenuta del Conte produces wines that reflect the unique climate and rich soils of Cirò. The vineyard rows are strategically oriented to maximize the influence of the sea breeze and natural landscape, allowing for distinct wines that age with grace, showcasing intense aromas and flavors unique to Calabria’s Cirò wines.
