Since 1670, Angelo Negro has cultivated the Roero hills, capturing the essence of Piedmont through native grape varieties and traditional methods. In the early 20th century, Angelo "Angelin" Negro started with a modest two hectares, producing just a handful of demijohns, yet his dedication inspired his son Giovanni to build a cellar that transformed the family’s legacy. Today, Azienda Agricola Angelo Negro e Figli spans 70 hectares across prestigious areas like Cascina Perdaudin in Roero and Cascina Basarin in Barbaresco. Still family-operated, Giovanni, his wife Maria Elisa, and their four children continue to expand into new markets, crafting wines renowned worldwide for their character, rooted in Roero’s distinctive soils and climates.
