Tenute LuSpada is a story of transformation, where dedication turned neglected land into a thriving vineyard of excellence. Located along the historic Via Appia, a UNESCO World Heritage candidate, the estate is an ideal destination for lovers of ancient roads and slow tourism. Following a renovation, an elegant tasting room was created in a restored 16th-century farmhouse, offering guests a unique experience with views over the vineyards and Lake Cillarese. The estate focuses on indigenous varieties from Brindisi and Salento, including sixty-year-old Negroamaro vines, which produce Masada, the winery’s signature wine. With a commitment to sustainability, Tenute LuSpada has planted over 67,000 vines and 1,000 trees, significantly reducing its carbon footprint while producing its own energy through a photovoltaic power plant.
